Lexus on fire
Some of these posts about the fire remind me of an email I got a while back. It seems, some guy in Nigeria needed to transfer a bunch of funds to a US bank account. All I would have to do is give him my bank account number and he would give me $10K just "for my assist in trans action."
If this fire is real, I suspect human intervention or crappy maintenance.

it happened for a reason..maybe if the car wouldnt of caught on fire you might of continue driving an perhaps crash/flip/gotten highjacked at gun point and shot a couple of miles later, just think about it like this "it happened for a reason"
As a physician, I don't want to say something I'm not 100% sure. Just talked to one mechanic, a patient of mine. He advised me to buy Toyota avalon or Acura. Wait 3 years, if I want LS 460. Still, this one failed me after 6 years.
Please do share as we're curious about this. Something that current LS owners need to know

If you're that afraid of even getting an 07 LS, why can't you disclose the problem? Any 07 LS up in flames yet?
ROTFLMAO
This is a true story and I'm still waiting for the inspection report. I have one avalon first built in USA(assembled, I believe), is working fine for 10 years. Just maintenance and battery change.
