Hi - great thread! Love the pics! Do you by any chance have any pictures of when this happens:

"After the removal of those last screws, the center nav screen will pull straight out."

I'm interested because I need to replace the plastic trim surrounding the nav screen (it's a little scratched), and I'd like to do this at the same time as I do the Lockpick.

Spender, sorry not picture on the Nav screen pull. It seemed like it was a complete unit but I didn't remember looking at the trim specifically to see if you can replace it or not.

hi i found a place that sells a kit that will work with my 03 ls430. it should be the same for your 01 ls430. try and give these guys a call and see.
