Thumbs down Anyone installed hidden (Behind bumper) back up reverse sensors?

I was wonder if anyone installed the hidden (behind the bumper) reverse parking sensors on their LS430? I own a 2001 model and was thinking of getting the Rostra model which mounts behind the rear bumper to give it a clean installed look. Don't want to buy it if it will not work due to too much metal behind the bumpers. Any input will be appreciated....

No, but I've installed front and rear radar detectors/laser jammers in the bumpers/grills. Both of mine work fine - although not the same as the bumper sensors.

Hopefully someone will chime in with a specific answer for ya'.

Here is a website that describes the unit.

Here is one being installed on a Honda Odyssey Van

I just purchased the same kit on ebay. The sellers had one left and will let all of you know how it goes after I learn how to remove the rear bumpers. Looks nice and clean after installed. I'm just wondering how do you remove the rear bumpers? I'll make another post on that and see how easy it is and if other members have removed theirs.
