Default Should I buy this damaged 2003 LS430?

Someone is selling a front end damaged LS430. They claim that the title is clear, however the damage would need to be fixed. They are selling it for $15,000. They also claim that the interior is still immaculate. What do you guys think? They said they have another LS that we could use the parts from to fix it like new for $20K total.

I have the exact same color combo, except mine is '02. This particular color is extremely hard to repair. I went for detailing last week and chatted with the guys there. I asked them about repainting my scratched rear bumper, they shook their heads when they saw the color of the car. Said that this color is extremely hard to match (new paint on damaged parts vs. original factory paint on undamaged parts).

Of course auto body shops "can" eventually match the newly painted parts with undamaged parts, they can 'blend' the new paint to match the "aged" original paint. But then it will probably wear out differently, which can show the difference in 2-3 years (for this particular color). When u sell it, even untrained eyes will be able to spot the difference and assume that it has been in an accident, thereby moving on to other 2003 LS430 with no visible trace of accidents. Making it hard to sell at a good price.

What's the mileage on this car anyway?

IMHO, I'd say find a cleaner example.

My 03 is the Pearl White. My wife backed it through the garage door last year (don't ask). Minor body damage that we were able to take care of with paintless dent removal and buffing. My body guy told me the Pearl White is impossible to match. He could get close by blending, but not perfect, so we decided to try the Paintless dent route first, and I'm glad I did. Turned out PERFECT. I watched the guy do it, and he wouldn't quit untill it was perfect.

I'm a happy camper and the wife's still alive.
