can i buy the navi ff ebay and put it in.......or do i have to chang the wiring too?

As I understand it, if you are trying to place a Factory nav system in a LS that didn't have it, you would need the harness (wiring). If you got the whole kit with the wiring (remember you need the DVD player that goes in the trunk), I'd assume it's possable but, it sounds like a nightmare...

I check ebay for LS430 parts myself, and the cheapest I have seen is around $1500 for the Nav with the DVD player, and no wiring.

Good luck, and if you do it, let us know your progress, I never heard anyone getting it to work. The cost, you could buy a nice after market kit, something to think about...

 

you will need all harness and such, it's not going to be easy. might as well go aftermarket. you will end up putting in more money than you want to try to get it to work

 

I agree with the above . . . plus, the aftermarket ones are much more impressive than the stock nav in the older models . . . I have the stock Nav.
