Will an '04-'06 trunk be a direct swap onto '01-'03? From looking at the pictures of the rear, it looks like a direct swap. Anyone has information on the swap?

So updating the '02 LS430 to '06 LS430 would require:

1. An '06 rear bumper
2. '06 rear tail lamps (or the one on E-bay for $200)
3. '06 trunk lamps
4. '06 trunk strip (above the license plate)
5. Anything else besides the exhaust tip?

 

Front update:

1. 06 Left fender
2. 06 Right fender
3. 06 Headlamps
4. 06 Front bumper
5. 06 foglights
6. 06 grille
7. Anything else?

After I typed all these updates.. I think I'll just keep my '02 LS430 the way it is, may be a rear swap.... or just leave it and put 19 inch wheels in place of the 16 inches..

 

You would need an 04+ trunk lid also because the lights on the lid are slimmer

 

for the rear, you will need a whole new trunk lid as well

and for the front, you will need a whole new hood too, at least

 

There is someone selling a black 2005 hood on ebay (saw it yesterday), look under other items by the seller, He's got a lot of 2005 parts...
