I would love to adjust the distance alert settings on the LS 430 as can be done on the New ES 350...someone on the 2007 ES thread said it was possible, but in the Park Assist menu on our LS 430 I can only find volume adjustments...

I can't find that option either, I don't think it's possible in the LS430.
I have a 2004 (or maybe it's an 05) LS430 UL.

Yes, my 2004 LS430 has this option.

While I am not near my car currently I believe it is in the obscure set of options that also includes the calendar (who uses that?).

I think you get there from "Menu" > "Information".

I'll confirm how to find it tomorrow but it is definitely there.

My 2001 LS430 has this feature. I dont remember how to get to it on the top of my head, but i have seen that screen.

You can adjust volume and sensitivity there.

It's ok...sometimes with the '06 models sold in 2005, etc., it gets rather confusing.

But today in the LA Times Lexus ran a commercial advertising the '2005 RX'....oops a little out of date!!! And to make matters a bit more embarrassing, the tagline was, 'we could've called it the 2009 RX!"
