Default Problem - I heard a loud pop

This morning, I went to put on my amistad wheels. I raised up the front left and installed the front wheel. Fine so far. I went to the front right and started raising it up. Suddenly I heard a really loud pop, so I lowered the car right away. Looked around and didn't notice anything. So I raised it up again and noticed that I have to raise it up a lot higher now so I lowered it. I didn't hear the loud noise this time. I went to the front left and raised up the car to see if I have to raise it up higher in order to remove the wheel. While I was doing that, I heard that loud noise again.

Any one has any idea what that noise could be? I don't feel safe driving the car at all. I have to call up Lexus to have them to take a look.

Thanks guys

Are you sure the jack was on there right? Because sometimes if it's not on there real good it will slip. Did it sound like plastic popping, or what?

I think the jack was in a correct position.

I hope it was plastic popping. I couldn't tell.

How many pops where there on each side? Were they really loud or did it just pop?

That's the only thing I can thing of. They slip sometimes if not secure, so just drive it and if it drives funny then let us know but if it drives fine, all it was, was the jack slipping

I heard 1 pop on each side.

I have TEIN CS.

I jacked up the car again this morning and put on the wheels. I didn't hear any popping sound this time. I took it to the highway and hit 70 mph and didn't feel any thing strange. Thanks guys. It was scary though.
