(4LG) Nav Software Update

I got a call from my Lexus dealer about a navigation update and found this on the Lexus site:

Quote:

(4LG) 2004 THROUGH 2005 MODEL LEXUS TOYOTA NAVIGATION SYSTEM SOFTWARE UPDATE

Please contact any authorized Lexus dealer to schedule an appointment to have the Navigation System software updated before December 31, 2005.

I received the letter for the DVD upgrade several months ago but planned to wait until December so that the Points of Interest were the latest possible.

Is this the same thing or are they actually changing the software?

If you do it now, or DEC, its still going to be the same CD.

yeah it's probably the same, but might just as well do it in dec, in case they have something good coming out
