Me too! I wish my other cars had it.

Don't forget the little roll of material behind the rear view mirror to keep the sun out of your eyes. Just pull it down...how neat is that

I love that thing. I've always used it to hold my garage door opener in my LS and SC300.

The key cylinder on the left is to open ur trunk with ur non valet key if u dnt feel like going in ur car to pull the trunk openoer button.....

In Europe we got the Smart key in 01-03 models, so that's what it's for

It wouldn't made sense for them to remove the button for NA markets, but it would make sense to also give you Smartkeys, since you guys were the best selling market.

Other leftovers from configurations around the globe are the rear controls. They move with the rear seat behind the driver, because that is the near-side in RHD markets, and the near-side is the one the VIP that's being chauffeured around sits. When they switch RHD to LHD they left the central bit with the left seat, which is now the off-side.

Adding to the cool features, the oscillating front vents take input from the passenger detecting sensors. If you drive alone, the passenger central vent will turn all the way to the left, and will concentrate airflow on the left side. Realised that just yesterday

Anyway, I would like to ask how can I adjust the auto-lights sensitivity. The manual says it can be adjusted, but doesn't even mention that I would have to go to the dealer to have it done. Does anybody know?

For those with laser cruise control. When you engage the system it shows 3 lines and a car if there is one close enough in front of you. If you hit display 2 on the wheel it will remove one line with each press. This sets the distance the car will pace itself behind the car in front. It has 3 modes for pacing distance.

The adjustable distance also works for the radar cruise control (which comes with the PCS option).

Default Smart Key Vs Standard FOB?

Not 1000% sure what we are referring to and google has vague results. I have a 2004 with a key that has the lock unlock trunk - type key. The smart key has more technology, correct?

I'm asking because I want to change my door locks but not have to go out to a Lexus dealer and probably pay good $$. But some folks say they can change this with their smart keys.

Same here, robish. Managed to set the SmartAccess to unlock all four doors a moment ago. This solves a pet peeve of the wife's when SmartAccess only unlocked driver's side previously. Forgot to try the nav override but, unless I'm mistaken, it probably won't work on our updated Gen4 system (currently have NA 13.1 U28 maps installed).

Does anyone know the voice command used to adjust passenger-side temp? The driver's side switch is so close that it's faster for me to adjust it than use voice control. However, the passenger-side is farther away and safer if I can use voice command. Thank you for the help.

To make the wipers go only ONE cycle - to clear off condensation, for instance - pull back on the wiper stalk.
