Default Pricing Help

Hi guy's,

I am in the market for my first lexus. A LS 430 {Flint Mica/Blk} or {Blk/Blk} with the Modern Luxury package. I am in the New York area, long Island to be specific.

When I configured the car on the Lexus website the price comes to $62,189. The dealer wants $58,500. I feel that I can do better. Mind you that this is the first dealer I contacted. What price should I be looking at.?

I am turning in a lease for an S500 {on the 15th of August} and the previous car was a S420. It is my first time going for a Lexus, I have heard great reviews about the car and look forward to contributing to the board.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....look forward to hearing from you.

Hello Nick

Looking for the 2004 LS430 is a very smart choice.
If you look at their reviews, they are #1 in almost every category.

You should call all of the Lexus dealerships in the NYC, NJ area.
Make them compete for your business.

Also, buy your car at the "end" of the month. Dealers are more willing to negotiate more at the end of the month.

Also, go to www.edmunds.com and they will give you a price that you should buy it for.

Good luck!

Thanks Donald,

I had a feeling that I offended everyones sensibilities. No one replied to my post . I will call around and see what price I can come-up with.

You are welcome Nick

You did not offend anyone.

I think this website has been slow lately. With the holiday weekend coming up and so forth.

Like I said, call many dealerships and make them compete for your business.

I bought my car from Lexus of Manhattan. You can mention my name if oyu want. I bought it from them a month ago.

Do you have a car to trade in? If you do, make sure you get a lot for your car.

Check out the edmunds website. Go to "Forums" and then "Lexus" and then "LS430".

Good luck!

I did better than that and I bough the car in Feb. I guess it depends on the dealers. I contacted 3 and 2 didn't really want to give me much discount at all. 1 gave me what I asked for through email. I stopped by and just signed the papers.

call up lexus dealers in NJ even though they're far from where you are. tell them that if they give you the right price you'll be willing to have the car shipped or fly over. they'll def. set a deal with you over the phone.
the best one in NJ is Difeo Lexus, and afterwards give Lawrence Lexus a call as well.
