My LS has about 2K miles and on concrete city streets, taking corners at 30 mph or so, the tires are very noisy, almost a roar. I guess it could be that the car is simply so quiet otherwise.

However the car also "wanders" a little at highway speeds. Doesn't pull to one side or the other, just doesn't seem to want to go straight.

Also, the front wheels seem very upright, extremely so. Could the noise and the wander be an alignment issue?

I plan to have it looked at during a 3750 mile oil change, but just curious if the car could have been delivered with a less than perfect alignment and if that could cause both of the problems.

I've noticed that a tire low on pressure will flex more in the sidewall and that contact patch tends to create more noise when taken into a corner. 30 MPH is a pretty good turn if this is a 90 degree change of direction.

As a new car, I'd be inclined to bring it in and have them check it.
