My Mark Levinson tweeters sound very poor. What new, modern tweeters would you recommend for a Mark Levinson system that would meet the specifications and sound good?

 

These will sound amazing but mounting could be an issue

 

Is this good? Impedance: 4 Ohm

 

Measure the originals to compare. If they are say 8 ohms then use a 4 ohm resistor in series, or this might not be necessary you'll have to listen to them first.

 

Put back in there as close to the impedance that you measure. You can add resistor but try to find right impedance. Also my tweeters have started sounded tinny and drowns out the overall base is that the way yours sounds? I can put my head down at door speakers and plenty of base.
