Replacement driver’s side seat cover
I have a 2005 Lexus LS 430 silver with bluish leather interior, and the driver seat and back have developed small tears in the leather with use over the years. What is the best way to get a replacement cover [new or used] for this that will match the rest of the seats. And is it even possible to replace or do I have to replace the whole driver’s seat in which case what is the best place to find one?
There a few companies that make replacement leather pieces that are exact copies of the factory pieces. They are kinda expensive, like $150 a section for real leather, and it’s a little bit of work to install them, but your seats will be like brand new again and they last for a long time, so it’s worth it if you like the car. Try Lseat.com, or if you search eBay you’ll find a few options. If you live somewhere cold, make sure to replace the seat heaters while the leather is off.
i replaced my driver seat bottom with an ebay one
