headlights wont adjust higher?
2006 LS430, no matter what I do the headlights will not go higher. I've tried to adjust the screws on the headlights, I've tried messing with the ride height sensors. They move left & right with the steering wheel, but will not go high enough to be safe. High beam is the only way to see at night. No warning lights. The ride height sensors make them go down further, but not higher like they need to. I've seen one post about used rods with non-stripped gears, but cannot find anything else. I've had the car now for just a few weeks.
Hello,
What makes you think that the Headlights are aimed too low? Can you share a picture of what you see?
Was the car involved in any head-on collisions?
Try turning the Headlights On with the Key out of the Ignition, and only then turn the key to the On Position, at least in older models it would trigger the Adjustment Sequence, you should see the lights go down as low as they can, and then go back to proper height, if possible, record a video of said sequence and post it here.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

The adjustment rods were shot & I did not realize the way its designed you're supposed to adjust high & low together. I found previous post showing how to removed the geared rod & adjust them separately. It's fixed now!
