Hello everyone,

I’ve run into a strange issue with my 2005 Lexus LS430 and could really use some help.

Today, I noticed that the entire center console A/C unit and the clock display on top suddenly stopped working. None of the A/C buttons or controls on the center unit respond, and the time display is completely blank.

Here are a few details:

• The seat A/C works fine.
  
• The radio and rear-view camera are working normally. Display in the unit works fine!
  
• This started after the car sat unused for 2 days while it was raining.
  
• Everything else in the car seems to be functioning as usual.

Has anyone experienced this before or know what could be causing it? Any guidance on how to troubleshoot or fix this would be greatly appreciated. I did try checking the fuses, removing battery terminal and waiting 5 minutes. After I inserted the terminal I could hear the sound of A/C unit and vents configuring but no show up on Center Console.

If this happened after rain I would check to see if any water in left wheel well in trunk.

Thank you for your response, I checked the said area which has the Trunk Fuse Box. It is not wet and looks dry. I opened It's cover completely and just looks dusty, no wetness or signs of water. I checked the right side one which has Navi, Tuner, Amplifier units and It looks bit moisture on body but not signs of actual water.

I also must mention that, The Passenger Seat belt light does work on center console when sat in Passenger Seat (Red blinking light) but no signs of clock, outside temp, or functioning of buttons. This shows that connection to the display is fine?! but something relating to clock, A/C and unit is not functioning?! It also appears that Amplifier is facing trouble too now because I am not getting any audio sound whether FM or Tape or CD.
