I'm also a new buyer and wanted to know how to ascertain the car has no air suspension? For example, I just met with a seller and he claimed the car had no air suspension but it appears from the VIN decoder on this website that it does -- is that correct? Thanks!
Also, seller said that he recharged the battery (car was sitting in garage) and the radio stopped working. any input on this would be appreciated
They could had replaced the air suspension to regular suspension.
A weak battery can cause a kinds of issues on these cars so get a new battery asap.
How to Tell if LS 430 Has Sport Suspension Package

Update, not sure why this was moved as it is a 2011. Anyways I bought it, 9800 cash out the door, after driving it I couldn’t walk away for less than 10k. She’s perfect and a beauty

Probably was moved because in your first post you said "looking to buy a used 3rd Gen LS" but you were in fact looking at a 4th Gen and eventually bought it.
3rd Gen = 2000-2006
4th Gen = 2007-2017
