Hello,
04 LS430
My floor jack isn't long enough to reach on the front subframe.
Options:
1. Can use the control arm bushing from the side? This feels safer than the pinch weld...
2. Under the pinch weld where the factor scissor jack goes?

There are a number of threads found by searching using the search term "jack points".
That is what I used.
I am quite new to this forum, but found them without much effort.
Searching is a dying art.

So indeed, the forum would appear to be slowing down from former days of higher traffic.
What happens in future years when there are much fewer members remaining to answer questions?
I can guarantee you the ability for a new member to be able to accumulate his own information will be a sought after skill.
I plan on being one of those people who are only just about to embark on their Lexus LS430 ownership, for which I plan to keep for about 10 years.
Will you be around to assist?

You are right buddy. I am on a few Acura forums and they are all ghost towns. No one available to answer a question or offer any kind of guidance.Originally Posted by Leadfoot6
