I have the 18" five-spoke chrome wheels on my '04. I need new center caps. The parts catalog lists 42603-50270 for the 17" wheels. Will this center cap fit on the 18" wheels? The parts catalog lists 42603-30370 for the 18" wheels but I can get 42603-50270 for fewer bucks.

Almost all late Toyota Lexus sedan wheel center caps are 62mm in size. So if your question was whether they fit, all 62mm center caps fit. They are however different in finish, for an example, chrome vs. painted. I have both 17” and 18” OEM wheels. Both center caps are chrome and they are exchangeable. I am however not sure they are original center caps.

 

Sounds advice here. The center bore of the wheels are consistent - 60.1mm (why the “.1” on all center bore sizes -I have no idea), making cap size ~62 OD. I agree they most likely will work. P/n difference likely for chrome; that sounds most likely. Tip:

Google the pics of the two wheels (or find the brochure for 04 LS and look at the pics - they are online). If they look the same, they’ll swap. I often buy take-off wheels and refinish them for snow sets, change the look, etc. If I need new center caps I just get a set off Ebay for $12 or so (LoL - just looked. $18 now. 50% inflation in four years sounds about right). If you don’t need the “L” stylized on it, you can find plain silver ones cheaper. In fact, you remind me that I need to buy a set for some IS wheels I just bought last weekend to refinish, so let’s see…
