Question Aftermarket AMP for LS430

Hello, I was wondering if there are any less expensive aftermarket amps for the LS430 or if I should just stick with getting the OEM one.

There is no aftermarket direct replacement amp for the LS430. All aftermarket amps out there would require significant customizing of the cars audio system for them to work. There are a couple places around the country that will rebuild your OEM amp. I forget the names of the places but there are threads about it here on the forum if you want to go that route.

i did this, and i ended up running all new speaker wire to the door speakers. So basically i rewired the whole car to get my aftermarket amp working with my aftermarket head unit.
It was a lot of work, but worth it.

none of it was difficult, just very time consuming.

TIPS:
I used a Pioneer bluetooth head unit, I located it in where the factory CD player was. you have to take the factory radio out and delete the CD part of it, not too difficult.
i took out the front seats and rear seats out to route the wires under the carpet. this part alone took several hours
I ran 8GA Power wire from the battery to the trunk for the amp.
the speaker wiring ( think i used 18GA) I did goes from the trunk to each door, and the subwoofer in the package shelf
the amp is an MTX amp, and i put it basically in the factory location where the factory amp was
I deleted the factory amp, and also replaced each of the door speakers with ones from Polk Audio

This is a one-way modification, but to me - this is a $6k daily driver / beater car, and I wanted the sound to work for years to come so it was worth it
I bought all the stuff from Crutchfield
