Hey clublexus, first of soon to be many questions. I have a 2001 ls430 ul edition and I plan on lowering it with the oem air suspension. But I’m not sure if the asc680 is compatible for the 2001 years. I’ve been on eBay for a bit and only seen asc680’s for the 2004+ models. Any information helps!
The ASC680 works for both 01-03 cars and 04-06 cars, the difference is in the wiring harness adapter. I did a lot of research on this almost two years ago and from what I remember, for the 01-03 cars you need an ASC680 with the wiring harness connector that has two rows of pins. The 04-06 cars use a different style of connector that has three rows of pins. I'll include some example pictures. The first picture is from the ebay listing that I bought. The sellers name is Mega-Garage and it came directly from Japan. It was $200 then, he's charging $226 now. Don't get one without the wiring harness because the wiring harness is hard to find by itself, and when you do find one it's almost as expensive as a used ASC680 with the wiring harness. If/when you get one, there is a video on Youtube by an Australian guy who does a really great job of explaining how to set it up and use it, and what to do and not to do so you don't destroy your air shocks. I believe I still have a PDF of the manual as well if you can read Japanese or don't mind translating it with Google Lens.

Here's a link to the ebay listing for the ASC680 that I bought from Mega-Garage. It always says "last one left" so I think Mega-san goes and gets them from his supplier as needed. That would also explain why it usually takes him 5 to 7 days to ship the order. After I looked at the listing the other day, he sent me an offer to buy one for $214.69, which was probably automatic.
