for a while the radio wouldn't play at full volume....as u turned it up it indicated 30 and the next turn of the **** it would roll over to 10....and then sometimes it would go up to 60

now there is no sound at all.....it stays at 1-2

what gives?

 

Does it act up when you turn a corner?
My stereo volume jumps occasionally when I turn the steering wheel which leads me to believe it’s a clock spring issue.
It also gets worse in warmer summer months.
Does your horn work? Do your steering wheel buttons work?

 

It acts like the volume control rheostat. Try turning back and forth real fast to see if makes a difference.
