Strange rumble from front wheels
Less than 5k miles back I replaced the front brakes and rotors.
Now I have a pulsing that is at the same frequency as one revolution of the wheel (faster at higher speeds and slower as I slow down.. Its a chatter at 50 mph when I start to brake. It is not a shake. just a steady sound with a very slight physical movement felt in the steering wheel. It almost disappears in wet weather! As I slow down it becomes a lower frequency rumble/pulse. It seems to be less toticable after the first application of the brakes, almost like something is getting wiped off the brake disk....
If the rotors were not almost new I would blame warped rotors. Any ideas?
