my Mirrors do not fold automatically. Looking for a replacement set
we have a 2004 Lexus LS430 Base V8 4.3L 4293CC VIN JTHBN36F040143932
what is a good price, should I buy both?
I'm not sure if the base model mirrors have the folding option.
I know that the other models fold, but the base model may not.
I'm sure someone on here will know.
Does your base model car have the button to the left of the steering wheel to select or deselect the folding mirror feature?
Yes, it is a rocker switch on the dashboard just left of the steering wheel. The options are open, automatic and fold-in. (My terms). In the 'burbs where there is plenty of space for parking, I just keep the mirrors extended. I figure the fewer cycles on the motors the better. In narrow NYC streets, where you slip between double-parked cars or park in garages, forcing the mirrors inward gives you a few crucial inches of leeway.
