Does your 2004 have the **** that adjusts the cluster lighting like my ‘01? I thought mine had gone dark only to find out I accidentally/ somehow moved it to the off position…. Worth a try ….

Yes I have that **** and have rotated it back and forth, NO JOY. But I will start by making sure there is power at the fuse, then I will open up the dash and look at the rheostat which could be bad.
Any other suggestions before I pull the dash apart?

If it were me I would look at a wiring diagram to see all in the circuit before pulling the dash. It could even be a relay if it uses one for that circuit.

Hey, if you need a new assembly I have an extra one I no longer need. Pulled it from the pick+pull (LQK) so not sure if it works. I sold my 430 so I don't need this anymore.

PS, to pull this out there is a black plastic bezel on the inside of the gauge pod. At the top there are two phillips screws/plastic plugs. Need a short screwdriver. After those are out use use interior remover tools to pull the bezel straight out. It has 2 internal clips at the bottoms but it should pop out. Then the gauge pod assy has 4 screws holding it in. and One electrical connector. You may need to pop our the dash dimmer switch panel to access the left side screws.
