Default Oil pump replacement

Should I replace the oil pump while I知 doing the water pump and timing belt I値l have everything off and out of the way my car is a 97 with 197,000 miles

It is possible to remove the oil pump with the engine in the car however it is not simple and can cause more leaks since the sump pan can not be removed with the engine in the car. The oil pump is not a wear item on these engines and typically they leak (very minor) from the small o ring at the top of the pump after so many years and mileage.

I'd say leave it alone.

At about 5 minutes in until the end of this video they explain why its complicated and not recommended -
