Default Mysterious fitting
Can anyone tell me what this fitting is or what it does?
It’s located near the bottom of the engine on the passenger side. There is nothing attached to it.

It is used to drain the engine coolant in the block. Place a vinyl hose around the hole and crack the bolt loose to get the coolant flowing.

It's a coolant drain.

Wow those 2 posts where within seconds.
Yes, it is the coolant drain for the block. One on each side.
