Default Wheel and tire help please !

New Lexus owner here.

I’ve literally read like 100 pages of the wheel thread and I have yet to find an answer ! I got my LS a couple weeks ago. I will be getting work wheels lanvec ld1 in a 19x9. Car is stock. Most I’ve read here involves a modified suspension.

Would 235/45/19 fronts and 265/40/19s rears work ? If so what offset for the wheels ? Fenders need to be rolled ? If not what size tire ?

I know spacers would be needed for the fronts. I wanted springs but only with a 1inch drop max but no one makes them no more. Which is why I’m opting for 19s with a bigger sidewall. I don’t want coilovers. The car is a cruiser. I want it to be comfortable still. Thank you !

what year is your LS? 1st gens 90-94 cannot fit as large of a wheel/tire size as 2nd gens 95-00. also what look are you going for? flush or stretched look?

with a 1" drop, that's not that low so your offset should be on the conservative side (mid 30s to 40s). start with https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator where the stock wheel size is 16x7 +45 offset (for a 2nd gen).
for the work wheel model you want, you will need standard a-disk up front so you don't have to get spacers to clear the brake calipers (again assuming you have a 2nd gen). you can go deep rim o-disk for the rear.
are you custom ordering the sizes? most folks find used wheels and ask if they will fit.

as for tires, 265s are pretty wide. i had 275/30s on an 11" wide wheel but i was pretty low on coilovers/airbags and was slightly stretched.
use: https://tiresize.com/calculator/ where the stock tire size is 265/60/16 (for 2nd gen).
tire size will depend on wheel widths and the overall look you want.

you will only need spacers if the spoke design requires them. offset is only part of the equation.

I’ll just go 19x8 235/40/19 & 19x9 265/40/19. Stock suspension. I’m assuming that’s the safer bet. I appreciate the help.

I’m new to this community and I’ve read hours and hours of the forums but I’m asking because I couldn’t find a definitive answer since most cars are dropped. I might drop in the future but only 1inch if I could find suspension that does that. So the setup I get now should work fine if or when I decide to drop from what I’ve read. Provided I roll fenders of course.

wheel/tire fitment is a tough subject to explain as there are many factors: ride quality, fender modification, tire choice, suspension choices, etc.
there is no one size fits all answer unfortunately! i learned a lot by trial and error which is invaluable (even when it sometimes cost money to execute)!
