I was working on my LS400 and I disconnected the battery so that I could take the seat out, because it was disconnected the seats wouldn’t move forward or backwards so I was tightening and loosening these two screws in the front and that made it move forwards and backwards. All of a sudden it stopped moving, not sure what happened, tried everything I know, can’t find solutions anywhere. I reconnected the battery and tried moving it forwards and it clicks so I know it’s not an electric issue. Please help, it’s my first car and I wanted to take the seats out to clean the carpet underneath.

 

can you further explain what two screws you adjusted? take a picture?
