Default Sold it. Miss it already

Downsizing and don't need 2 cars. I bought this for 4k 10 years ago. I put 100k miles on it and sold it for $3,500. It still runs perfectly. Sold to a young man who is still in high school. He did his homework and knows exactly what he bought. Told him his classmates may laugh at this old man car.... until they get a ride in it. It's a magic carpet ride. I hope to get another one some day.

Sad to see the car go, but hope the new owner will take care of it for years to come and that you'll find another

$3500 seems way too low in this market for 100k miles in that condition.. I would think it's worth at least double, but the important thing is that it has a good home.

I think he meant to say he put 100k miles of his own ontop of what it had (unspecified) when he got it.

you should try and get a 98-00 model with the vvti engine. That's what I did and it was worth the upgrade, also bought my 99' for 3500 4 yrs ago with 147k, probably worth close to 3x that now.

all i can say is hopefully the new owner appreciates it as much as you did, and luckily sounds like they do

also considering he's in high school i hope he's either got plenty of money, or generous parents that will make sure the proper maintenance is done with the proper parts lol
