Hi everyone,

Still getting used to my "new" '95 LS.

Does the torque converter lock-up if you are at a steady cruise in 3rd? I swear I feel a little nudge (not always) that feels like that happening. I don't see any obvious drop in revs to go along with it though (as you see when it locks up in high gear).

 

I've read someplace (?) that a stock ECU'ed A340E converter only locks in 3rd and 4th.

Somebody will be along with confirmation.

 

I wouldn't expect it to lock up in any gear lower than 3rd. Just curious if it did indeed do that. Sure kind of feels like it.
