HI, I am putting a new engine in my 93 ls400 and I need to know where the wires from the white trac plug go to. Most people cut it off for conversions but i want to keep it .
The new engine is slightly older but same series, it was from an sc400 I think. It has the flatter 22 and 16 pin plugs.
Also there is a thick blue wire coming from the ecu to body plug number 14 which i dont know where it goes as all diagrams seem to not have it.
There are just a few wires I dont know where they go that have been cut off with the body plug. There is a 5 core shielded cable there the same as the one that goes to the trans as well I dont know about.
I tried to hook up the Tach wire and there are 2 black wires that have continuity between them and the ig terminal.
A pinout for these extra plugs would be great!

 

why not just take the compatible harness off your old engine and transfer it to the new?
