The originals likely could’ve been re used but that’s not really logical when replacing everything else.
Both replacement sets were in good shape out of the bag still pliable and felt like a new part.
None of them, new or old, sucked…
This was my experience as well. All the rubber parts I've purchased have been soft & pliable. It even has that tacy white talcum powder on it which leaves a residue when you touch it.

Oh and p.s 15 years in the stable climate and humidity in a warehouse in a bag is very different than 15 years on the car exposed to the elements and heat cycle of the car.

They don't hold up in winter unfortunately this includes the originals on the car. Pretty pissed off the first time it happened I sprung for OE parts and they ripped after about 5 years.

LS or ES ?
Similar design but the LS part is MUCH thicker.
Different part, different price point.

Interesting. Have replaced this part on Highlander, ES, Camry and some others I forgot about. They were all a disappointment. Now I cut the factory part and add in the generic bellows it works well enough that way.

My originals were un-ripped after 20 and 23 Colorado winters. But as Brad said, you may as well replace them while you're in there. Also, not the same as Alberta winters. And also not the same as other Toyota products.

Strange how the others rip so easily, that I am surprised by.
