Hot Air Drivers Side

Hot Air Drivers Side
Well, I think the second major problem came up in nine years (first was a speaker that i poured water on.. don't ask.. )
The drivers side blows out hot air, when I mean drivers side I mean the one on the very left and the one that's on the left side of the center console. I checked two fuses in the driver kick box and those are perfect. It's a 1994 LS 400 and it's been perfect for everything! Does anyone know what might be the problem? I did a search and I checked to see if it might be a common problem, but doesn't seem so. I saw that it was around $400 for a complete A/C repair kit, so I guess if we do have to take it to a dealer it wouldn't be that bad, but I'd rather try to fix it myself and show my dad.

AIR LEAK IN FOOTWELL
Hi Vraa
I've got the same problem.
It's a pain the @#$% in summer!.
I've been told that the vent is electronically controlled. You will be able to hear it moving when you alternate the switch between fresh air and recirculated air. Apparently the vent gets sticky with dust etc and doesn't close fully, hence the air leakage.
I am yet to pull mine apart. I'll let you know how I go.
Cheers!
