Smile LS Convertible

Not to outdo the thread about a 1st gen LS converted into a limo, I found a pic of a first-gen converted into a soft-top convertible. Check it out, this company does some wild conversions (although the convertible Maybach looks like a photochop to me).

Default LS 400 Convertible - BAD IDEA!!!

Why in the world would you wanna do that???
By losing the top, the car loses its stuctural rigidity. This gets really notisable on rough roads and in bumpy turns. LS is not the greatest turning car as it is. I can imagine how bad it would be W/O the roof!
I used to have a 91 Supra with a targa top. The car handled great, although it was very heavy for its size and engine power. As soon as I took the top off, handling didn't just become poor, it disappeared all together! The car was twisting and jumping on every bump and I could not go into turns with half the speed that I used to with the roof.

Interesting but just doesn't look right to me. A good conversion wouldn't be cheap either.

Hmmm, you just can't tell anymore. You need to see it in person. I can't tell if it's Photoshoped or real. If it's real then WOW, it would be a huge project to convert an LS into a convertible!

And it's not outdoing my thread, I just found the LS limo and wanted to share with everyone.
