My LS400 is from 1990 and the whole cluster works except for the Odometer, Speedometer, Temperature and the Tachometer. All the needles sit below zero and don’t move an inch even when starting the car. The fuel gauge i believe is working correctly.(I say believe bc If these other gauges aren’t working i cannot 100% be sure). I’m trying to work on the car by myself so would anyone here have an idea of what it is and what’s the fix? I’ve read on the forum that it can be a bad ECU, a bad cluster or a bad speed sensor but all of the gauges being bad makes me believe it is a ECU or a cluster gone bad. HELP NEEDED ASAP!! TIA!! (I can post pictures later tomorrow if needed!)

From the symptoms you describe, the first thing I would check is the speed sensor on the gearbox. That should take care of the speedo and odo problems at least. After that is fixed you can go from there and look into the other things.
