I recently became the new owner of a 1999 LS400. The starter was not working properly so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work replacing the starter, valve cover gaskets (small oil leak), spark plugs and new gaskets for everything I replaced relating to the starter. I also did an oil and coolant change. I noticed a coolant leak on the side of my engine when looking underneath after starting up the car with the new starter. I recorded where the leak is coming from and it seems to come from a black plug on the underside of my engine block, on the passenger side of the car. It does not seem to be coming from any coolant hoses. I was wondering if you guys have any clue what the black plug is and where I can start to replace it. Thank you.
