I just bought this 1991 LS400 and while driving a got a CEL. It is because one of the grounds on the spark plug wires came off. I fixed that. Anyways I thought because it is before 1996 that it didn’t have a diagnosis port. I forgot about OBDI and some pictures showed that it does have a simple port under the steering wheel. So I go under there and the port is missing. Like it was never installed. Is this normal?

 

oops it looks like it was probably pushed into the dash. it should be there.
