Default Coach leather

Worth the extra cost? The dealer I bought mine from today didn't seem to even consider it but Edmunds adds $4K for it on their TMV price. It seems KBB also didn't think much of it. Who's right?

The '97 Coach Edition included the leather, special floormats, plus the nicer 5 spoke wheels which became standard on the '98-'99.

Regarding the extra value, I think it's subjective. I'm happy with my Coach Edition!

Interesting, I don't have 5 spoke wheels. Edit: LOL, yes I do.

But I have the mats and emblem on the back. Any way to tell that the leather is any better?

The sticker for ours has added value for the Nakamichi /CD stereo and chrome wheels.

How do you know if you have "Coach"?

I have soft leather, Nakamichi, gold emblem package....

Does that mean it's a coach?

Thanks.

As far as I know yes. You should also have the Coach emblem on the back.

Hummm,

I don't have the "Coach Emblem". All I have on the back is the Circle-L and LS400 on the trunk lid.

Hmmm, see pic below. Not a good one but that's the Coach "emblem" on the right.

Hummm,

Nope. I don't have that emblem.

Is it a stick-on? Do you think it may have been removed?

BTW, My Lex is the same color as yours.

Thanks!

Not sure how they put it on but its on as well as the make and model lettering. I think if it was removed, you would have noticed. What do you mean by "gold emblem package"?

I too am not sure what's different than their standard leather. I know Coach purses are rediculously priced as I had to buy my wife one a while back.

Almost 79,000. It's a '97.

I'm sure I have some pics posted on this site of it. Check it out.

I'm also in Charlotte, where are you?

Nice miles, I have 89k on mine.

I live in Cornelius, up at Lake Norman. How long have you had your car? Any problems?
