Default Degreased engine now engine light flashing

2000 LS, 180K. Recently went to the car wash and used its degreaser setting and barely sprayed the engine bay, the second she started up I could feel the engine shaking, so I turned her on the highway and raced home for 1.5 miles hoping the Texas heat and engine heat would help evaporate the rest of the water and degreaser, I took all the plastics off the engine bay and used my leaf blowers to help it dry faster with the sun, 3 hours later I turned her on and she’s shifting fine and not shaking or the engine light, but I’m more so scared of taking it to work and having it break down, anything other than spark plugs I should consider replacing now?? I know what your all thinking I don’t need to be told how dumb this mistake was lol

With the warming weather best suggestion I would have is to keep driving it to allow the moisture to evaporate out. On leaking motors oil and grease may have now worked into the electrical connectors. Start by unplugging them and checking. The wiring harness and connectors are not as flexible now so often enough those plastic connectors break when attempting to unplug them. Be gentle.

Connect engine scanner to see if stored trouble codes...

Might have collected water in the engine valley (under intake manifold).

Rubber hoses disintegrate when exposed to engine cleaner.

Engine connector shells and contact pins employ rubber seals....

If disconnecting any engine connectors, have replacement connector shells on hand.

Most of mine were brittle and cracked and, or crumbled when disconnected.

Easy to replace.

I'll bet water got in one or two spark plug wholes and shorted / grounded the induction coils , you can have that water there for a wile until its evaporates , don't drive like that , you can easily overheat the catalic convertor .
My advice , take a 10mm socket and go around each coil , remove the 10mm bolt and the connector , pull coil pack out and blow whit air , do your self a favor and change the Spark Plug Tube Seal 11193 50010 , it's a set for sale on ebay item # 272728959776
