The labels on both alternators there seem to say "remanufactured."

Due to the PSF leaks, even good quality rebuilds tend to fail quickly if the PSF leak is not fixed. The reman Denso on mine, installed by the PO's mechanic, only lasted 25k miles.

Glad you got it fixed. Make sure you don't have PS problems or the problem will come back.
