Default distributor cover removal 91 ls400

Any tips on getting driver side cover off Can only see one bolt I know there must be three.Already removed top radiator hose

What do you mean by distributor? These don't use a traditional distributor. They use coil packs and distributor rotors.

​​​​​​Are you talking about the cover that cover the plugs and the cap?

Pretty sure he's talking about the timing belt cover which covers the distributor.There's actually 4 bolts. This will show you the steps http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/ignition/sparkplugs.html Step 15 is probably the bolt you can't see. You will need an extension and a swivel adapter for your ratchet.

Say what ?????????? First off on a 91 there are 2 distributors one on each bank, and they each have a rotor that is a spinny around thingy and is why it is called a rotor. And both distributors are covered by a distributor cap that the spark plug wires stick into.

And COIL PACKS ? Sorry these are not COP ignition systems. Coil On Plug. And they can be referred to as packs. Most cop automotive systems do not use a rotor to supply the current they are electronically fired.
