Apple CarPlay
hi all!
new to the forum so apologies if I知 missing some of the standard rules. I have a 98 ls400 with nav and the Nakamichi system that I知 looking to install CarPlay in. Has anyone done this before? AC is currently controlled thru the screen so I知 worried that would be a problem. Any help would appreciated, cheers!

very hard trying to install new tech in what is essentially the first gen GPS NAV in lexus cars.
I'm sure it's not impossible but very, very cumbersome due to the HVAC system integrated in there as well.
you might as well just upgrade to a newer headunit with carplay already available, but that would also require installing a non-NAV HVAC unit which has its own hurdles.
