Codes - VSC, ABS lights and P0441
Long time watcher (I like to watch) first time poster.
To get any associated codes for the dreaded check vsc error with vsc off and abs light off, does the light need to be on? Ima make a run to autozone during lunch and want to get it scanned.
1999 with 205k miles

Only p0441 came up, changed the gas cap to an oem one from the junkyard but when I go to put gas I still hear pressure releasing when opening the gas cap. Maybe I need a new one. We changed all the evap hoses as they were cracked.
The last part, the pressure escaping when opening the gas cap doesnt seem normal does it? Also it just passed smog this past Saturday.

I'm stumped, how does one check out the charcoal cannisters? I get check vsc...alternator, battery and abs sensors are good. What else do I check?
