Default More 2004 LS430 details

Very exciting changes IMO, if they are true.
Some of the new options such as the Smart Key (Keyless Go) and Pre-collision system (Pre-safe system) are once again "borrowed" from MB though.

lexusls430,

I agree what you said. Autospies always lie. I don't think Lexus will make that many changes on a facelift LS. I won't buy another Lexus if they really do it. Look at the GS, the facelift GS has very minor changes. lexusls430, can you post the pic? Did they just change the grill? Thanks for the information.

Guys

Sorry to say it but AutoSpie has been right more than wrong.

My Lexus service advisor told me about some of these changes months ago. I posted her, look up my old thread.

He specificly told me about the Dual Crome tiped exaust and the new front and rear end.

I agree with those who say changes will be SUBTLE like in the 02 to 03 changes to the LX40 -- barely noticable. I think the dash may get some more "noticeable" changes. We'll see.

Whether Autospie is right or wrong its no big deal. I don't think the changes will be that radically different, but I do think it will be like the 97 to 98 changes. They are small but yet it they make a BIG difference to a Lexus nut but a unnoticeable difference to a non Lexus nut.

I think the changes will be to appease those who think the LS430 is too bland or un sporty. The Magazines have never really like the new look. I like it, but most people think it does not stand out enough. Anyways maybe the changes will be minor but yet striking enough to please those people who were not totally in love with the current design. At the same time not make owners of a current LS430 feel like they have an out dated model.

I don't think people who bought a 97 were that disappointed when the 98 came out.

Am I making any sense here??

At the same time all the new Technical changes sound AWESOME.

The changes are very minor like the 03 LX470 friend who is a owner of a lexus dealer showed me some pics just minor light details a bumper and a more chrome grille which you could barely notice the back is pretty much the same and there will be no smart key system lexus has smart key on the ls430 in canada i have no idea why but this is pretty much it.

On TV today they showed the new Honda with the anti collision on that car. All the new models come out here this month.
