My wife and her new Lexus on delivery day. We still have this car and my wife' s daily driver and she will not turn it in.

damn that's so awesome, if only I was well off (and old) enough in the 90s to have bought one new. it must've been the most glorious thing to drive! even now it still is.

I remember when my Dad bought his new in 98. I was 17. It was just the most incredible car I had ever seen, the ride and the smoothness and the quiet was so amazing, even compared to his Cadillac he had traded in. I remember he stopped halfway home and made me drive it the rest of the way home, I was so nervous but he wanted me to enjoy it as much as he did.
He was so generous with that car, I drove it to school, drove it out with my friends all the time, I had the second key and the second memory seat setting...pretty cool.
I sure would like to be that generous with my car when my kids get to be that age, but it'll be hard LOL
My LS460L is the same color combination that 98 was, silver with a black interior. I must admit that was part of the appeal. Pretty cool to be here 20 years later driving the same car that I wanted to be mine so badly back then. He'd be proud!
