1990 JDM 100k Bday Breakdown
Hey guys.
My 1990 Celsior Just hit 100,000 kms and beor I got home it overheated on the freeway. Pressure build up causing water to push through hose clams from what I could see.
The car uses a hydraulic fan and I noticed the fan fluid had leaked to the very bottom of the res. Also, the water pump is getting loud, grinding at time.
Would it be cheaper to replace the current fan setup, or should I just put in an LS400 electric unit.

I hate those hydraulic fans... lost a Camry engine to one a while back. I think you're much better off with the electric setup... That is what they've moved on to once they found the hydraulic ones did not work so well. Sorry for the problems with the Celsior... but nothing that can't be fixed.
