Yes! From my experience I've ordered parts from J.Marks Toyota in Texas and the parts were much cheaper than the Lexus dealer. 713-943-9900 ask for Jeff.

I'm with lexozz. I've been buying parts from Jeff at Jay Marks for my Camry,
Supra, and now my Lexus' for several years now and saved a bundle over dealer prices even with shipping. You will have to wait a while though for the parts to arrive. It sounds like Carson's Toyota in California -also has good prices.

About the only parts that are interchangable with Toyota and LS vehicles are Lug nuts and some misc. gaskets. How many Toyota models had 1UZ engines, or UCF suspension parts? 9 times out of 10 LS numbers are not valid Toyota part numbers.

The few Toyota dealerships I have tried locally, don't have the Lexus model info loaded into their systems. The part #'s show up in the pooter so you'll need to know before hand. The instances I have called, they just call across town to the same Lexus dealer and the price works the same. Toyota usually has some degree of interchangeability but it takes someone willing to experiment and Lexus parts being $$ that can put a damper on it.

Both Marks (now Champion Gulf Freeway) and Carson have full access to Lexus parts numbers and parts. It's true that you local Toyota dealer probably won't but, unless the last 5 digits begin with a 5 (e.g., -50000) they will have it or can get it and it will be cheaper (maybe half as much) than what Lexus will charge! There are lots of place on the net and by phone to get the parts numbers.

I would like to get a CD with part #'s and such. Does Toyota make this available to us?
