So, I picked up a set of AME Shallens that needed restoring and I'm wondering what color to paint the faces. I'm wondering if a darker gunmetal would look ok. Any opinions guys?
Wheels are sanded and ready for paint and they're going on a moonstone pearl LS400.

are you keeping the lips polished? dark faces will drown out the centers so it depends on the look you want. I am not a fan of matching the wheel color to the car and gunmetal will be close. either go darker (almost black or something closer to your bottom color) or lighter (silver) than the car. if I had a choice I would just do silver, keep it original.

Yeah, I'm keeping the polished lips. I definitely don't want it to look awkward. I may keep it silver, but I wanted opinions from you guys. ;-)
