Power window issue
1996 Lexus LS400
So this has been the second time this has happened since owning this car for a few years. So usually when it's hot outside and my car is in the parking lot I will roll down my windows until the AC starts to blow cold air. However, when I go to roll the windows up they won't move. From what I recall it was the driver's side window that would not move. So I continued driving with them down for around 30 seconds and tried again and it went up. I am just wondering what could be the reason for them not going up the first time I tried?

Pole Position
The same thing with the windows happened on my very first car (wasn't a Lexus, not gonna tell you, embarrassing..)
A similar issue occurs in my current 99LS, except with the drivers seat tilt. When I lay the seat back further than normal driving position it can take multiple attempts spread out across a few hours until I can return it up to driving position, which is still not completely upright. I wonder if it is an alternator load/inductance issue related to the little DC motors that power these things? Especially in AZ summer with the A/C blasting? Anyone out there have an understanding of these occurrences? I don't know, I'm an ME not EE. I've been told that we speak out of our asses so....
